Vivaltus

VivaltuS, owned by the Yllera family, is located in Peñafiel, Castilla y León, Spain. The family has elaborated quality wines for 6 generations, with long history of winemaking in Spain's Ribera del Duero. The new project Vivaltus is a massive success, obtaining crowning achievement in only its first vintage. The name “VivaltuS” arises from the acronym between the words " Life" and "Height", referring to the location of the winery on a hill.

 

The typography of the logo is like an exaltation of life, as if it was a person who raised his hands when he felt alive. Its’ wine maker, Jean-Claude Berrouet, is the winemaker at Château Pétrus for 40 years. Production is limited to 14,000 bottles annually. On 14th September 2021, VivaltuS 2016 became the first Spanish wine to be marketed through the “La Place de Bourdeaux, a marketplace where Bordeaux merchants have been selling grands crus and exclusive wines worldwide for 800 years. 85% of the Vivaltus 2016 were sold there within a day.
