Pulltex

The company was founded in 1985 by A. Dordella in Barcelona under the name TEX. Initially, it was dedicated to the manufacture of measuring instruments for industrial refrigeration and heating equipment, room thermometers for warehouses as well. They further developed wine thermometers and expanded their production lines to alcohol meters, stills, stoppers and corkscrews.

In the early 1990s, "TEX" changed its name to "Pulltex". The Pulltap’s corkscrew quickly became the most used corkscrew by wine professionals around the world. Between 2000 and 2010, the company expanded its businesses into Italy and France, with new commercial offices and their own warehouses. They cooperated with a wide range of distributors and agents that operated to expand the brand throughout the world. 

In 2020, the company has taken environmental responsibility aimed at sustainability and the protection of the planet, developing a new line of eco-friendly packaging and products. Till these days, Pulltex has launched various series of wine accessories that obtained patents, including silicone wine bottles, champagne corks and red wine glasses, creating a fine drinking experience for wine lovers around the world.
