Louis Eschenauer
Louis Eschenauer is a French negociant company that works with various partner wineries to sell Bordeaux and IGP Pays d'Oc wines to over 90 countries worldwide. Since 2007 it has been part of the Les Grands Chais de France group. The company's origins date back to 1821 when Louis Eschenauer moved from Alsace to Bordeaux, setting up a wine-trading business. From the mid-1870s, under the name Eschenauer & Compagnie, the company became an increasingly powerful player.
Today's portfolio includes several dry red and white Bordeaux AOC bottlings, Bordeaux Supérieur, a sweet Bordeaux Blanc and a Grand Vin range comprising Louis Eschenauer-branded Saint-Émilion, Médoc and Sauternes. White and pink Crémant de Bordeaux is also produced, and half-a-dozen Pays d'Oc wines complete the line-up.
