Frescobaldi

Marchesi Frescobaldi began in the 13th century. Its’ vision is to share the work, emotions and passion through its wines. In the 15th and 16th centuries, the Florentine wine house furnished wine to the Court of England and the Papal Court in Rome amongst others.

In the 1960s, Vittorio Frescobaldi upgraded the vineyards and searched for terrains to produce high-quality grape varieties only. Over a short span of time, Frescobaldi had planted more than 1,200 acres of vineyards in the province of Florence. In every era, the Frescobaldi succeeds in adapting, meeting and anticipating changing conditions brought by history, and thriving in innovation.

For more than 700 years and 30 generations, commitment to agriculture and viticulture have always been taken seriously by the Frescobaldi family. From the end of 2000, the Frescobaldi has become leading figures in the quality development of viticulture throughout the world, also the most prestigious wine producer in Tuscany.
