Francois Geisweiler

Francois Geisweiler (1781-1837) founded his company in 1804 at the age of 23 in the village of Nuits-St-Georges which was located in the heart of Burgundy. Geisweiler is thus one of the oldest wine houses in the region and is today famous for its sparkling Crèmant, the Méthode traditional (or Champagne method).

The distinctive Geisweiler blue color, referred to as “Bleu Royal” in France, makes it more identifiable and sophisticated.
