Domaine de Chevalier

Domaine de Chevalier, located in the middle of a forest, protects the vines from extremes weather. Chevalier is like a secret garden, far from the limelight. The estate can be dated back to the 17th century, and viticulture of significance was begun during the 19th century when it was run by Jean Ricard. In 1983, the Ricard family sold the estate to the Bernard family, the no. 1 family in France on the spirits market, and a major negociant of premium Bordeaux wines. Chevalier has been run by Olivier Bernard ever since, and his team who perpetuates that spirit of balance and the constant drive for perfection, which have been the hallmark of this outstanding wine.
