Château de Romance

The Château de Romance property is a newly created house by a family with passion for wine. In 2014, father Guy and son Cyril de Romance, bought the 3.2 hectare vineyard in the world famous Sauternes terroir, west of Yquem. They have eight vineyards with 90% Semillion and 10% Sauvignon Blanc, and vines with an average of 20 years.

 

They grow each vineyard tailored to its individual conditions, and continue to work towards sustainably with new thinking and modern equipment. Guy is an oenologist, and Cyril grew up under his inferences. Both of them have strong passion for wine, and after years of planning and hard-work, they finally have their own production.
