Angas Plains Estate

Angas Plains Estate is family owned, and operated by Phillip and Judy Cross in the highly regarded wine region Langhorne Creek, 50 minutes’ drive from south of Adelaide. It is 40 hectares land with 25 hectares planted to vines.

In 1984, Mr.Phillip bought the property. He developed a private pipeline to allow River Murray Water to come in, and re-developed his mixed farm into a vineyard in 1994. In 2002, Angas Plains Estate produced its first vintage Cabernet Sauvignon. The property now boasts 2 large holding dams for storage of water, preparing for minimal irrigation for the vines during the summer. The region’s vineyards reach out across 6000 hectares and has grown due to its ideal climate and soils to produce consistent premium quality grapes.
